Langtang and Gosainkunda trekking offers a remarkable and beautiful journey through the Langtang valley. Gosainkunda is one of the holy lake of Nepal. Many Hindus and Buddhist visit here to worship. Its a pilgrimage trekking too. The trek begins from Trishuli bazaar to Dhunche, Syabrubensi and finally reaches to Langtang valley.
We will explore Langtang national park where we get chance to see some wild animals and birds such as musk deer, pika, Danphe (national bird of Nepal), etc. We pass through oak and rhododendron forests and even cross glacial moraine on our way to the Tamang village of Langtang.
After taking some rest in the valley is Kyangin Gompa, we head further to Nubamatang, nestled in a hidden valley and view the glaciers, which mark the gateway into Tibet. Then we reach to the holy lake gosainkunda situated in the Syabru and Sing Gompa to a high plateau. It is a scared lake where many Hindus visit this pilgrimage lake to bathe during the August full moon in the festival of Janai Purnima. It is also rich in its natural beauty that offers terraced slopes, settlement of different ethnic group, rare wild animals and diverse range of flora and fauna.
