Makalu trekking includes the worlds fifth highest mountain peak Mt. Makalu (8,463 m) lying in the eastern part of Nepal which has been protected by Makalu Barun National Park. Though, it is formally restricted site, but many travelers visit here due to its attraction. The major attractions of this region are tropical Arun Valley, alpine meadows, fir and dense forest. The region offers impressive sceneries of mountains, forest, wild varieties of animals, plants and butterflies. The major source of attraction is village and people living there.
