Manaslu region welcomes adventure-loving trekkers with some incredible Himalayan vistas, flora and fauna in the Manaslu Conservation Area. As this region has been enlisted in the restricted region, only two people are allowed to trek at once and must obtain the restricted area trekking permit. The restricted permit itself costs 500 USD per person.
Trekking in the Manaslu region is spectacular for some reasons. The Larke Pass of Manaslu is located above 5000 meters, which is suitable for the Himalayas high pass trekking lovers. Heading through the alpine woods, passing the pocket zone of the snow leopard and the alpine meadows, the 10th tallest peak of the world- Mt. Manaslu, welcomes you with its best smile. The trek offers a truly adventurous experience in the Himalayas with many turns and twists, ups and down.
The cultural part of the Manaslu trek is equally prosperous. During the Manaslu circuit trek, you mostly pass through the Tibetan Buddhist communities that are highly spiritual and warm welcoming. Besides the Manaslu region, the Tsum valley region is highly isolated, and you can explore the primitive civilizations. This region is populated by the Tsumbas, who deny sacrificing animals. In the Manaslu section, the upper part is dotted with ancient monasteries and chhortens. Ultimately the trek connects the Annapurna region to its Annapurna circuit trail.
